Welcome

Eagle International School stayed, while its competitors ran.

Other foreign-operated language schools closed their doors in the aftermath of the recent earthquake and radiation scare so that foreign owners and staff could flee the city. And this only added to the inconvenience and the worries of parents in Tokyo who depended on those schools to take care of their children so that they could work or shop for fast-disappearing necessities during the crises.

Eagle International School, on the other hand, kept its doors open, offering parents and children a sense of normalcy at the most abnormal of times. Quick thinking by Eagle’s foreign owner ensured that the school’s preschool pupils would continue to be comfortable, through, for example, the ongoing provision of bento box lunches, of clean and dry diapers, and of ample toilet paper. Parents, meanwhile, had the comfort of knowing that they had a safe and caring place to drop off their children during the day so that they could get on with the business of providing for their families.

So when you’re looking for a school whose loyalty and commitment is focused on serving your needs and those of your children—a school, in other words, that you can count on to stand with you shoulder to shoulder no matter how dire the situation—keep foremost in mind Eagle International School.

Eagle International School in the meantime expresses its profound sadness for the devastation and loss of life occasioned by the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011. The management and staff extend their heartfelt sympathies to all who lost loved ones or otherwise suffered the loss of their homes and properties. We sincerely hope for the best for all survivors of this catastrophe.

Eagle International School has developed an early childhood education program that uses everyday situations in a child’s life to teach English and about English-speaking cultures and people. By using songs, dances, arts and crafts, reading, writing, and audio and video tapes to fulfill children’s curiosity, we ensure that children learn without knowing that they are being taught because they’re having fun.

When you enroll your children in the English Program at Eagle International School, you are giving them the opportunity to experience a new world. Children are instinctively curious about anything different. So hearing English and seeing the vast variety of people who speak it inevitably compels children to ask questions.

The early childhood education in English curriculum at Eagle International School applies the best in childhood developmental methods from European and North American child care systems. Underpinning those methods is the desire to allow each child’s spirit and creative energy to shine. Those methods are based on mental and physical activities that help your children to become tomorrow’s leaders.
